adidas archive clothes line dance adidas and Common Goal music come together in an effort to drive change in underprivileged communities, creating a stronger and more opportunistic future through the sport of football.

Originally launched in 2017 when Juan Mata of Manchester United and Spain pledged 1% of his salary to a collective fund, Common Goal has made it their goal to achieve high asos impact in needed areas through football. The collective has since grown to over 200 people, with over €3M generated.

Together with the adidas Football Collective, the duo has prepared a three year initial partnership. They’ll support local communities around the globe through the proceeds of adidas football sales, of which 1% will be brands to the charitable cause. Below are several projects they plan to take on via adidas:

  • Global Goal 5 Accelerator: Creating a world where every girl has the opportunity to develop her full potential
  • Anti-Racist Project: To end racism in football: on the field, on the sidelines, in the front office and across our communities
  • Play Proud: Making grassroots football organisations, programmes, and communities around the world inclusive for LGBTQ+ communities.
  • Global Goal 16 Impact: Empowering young people to shape their communities and play a key role in creating peaceful and inclusive societies.
