The upcoming Spring/Summer 2021 collection includes two of Dr. Martens’ iconic silhouettes, the 8-eyelet 1460 boot and the 1461 Oxford shoe, each emblazoned with Basquiat’s best-known artworks. The former spotlights Basquiat’s “Untitled” prints, while the latter showcases his famous dinosaur artwork from “Pez Dispenser”. Each model is then elevated with the artist’s signature crown motifs and Dr. Martens’ signature yellow stitching. Along with the footwear options, a backpack will also be up for grabs.
The MARTENS 1919 10105001 Black collection will be available via select retailers and drmartens.com starting July 3.
