Alexis Sablone & Converse revers Whip Up A “Pride” Inspired Jack Purcell

As Pride Month is among us, brands have started to unveil their celebratory footwear and apparel to bring awareness and empower the LGBTQ+ community. Converse, in partnership with multi-talented creative Alexis Sablone, look to celebrate the humanitarian month with a “Pride” inspired Jack Purcell.

When selecting her silhouette of choice, Sablone chose her favorite sneaker to skate in: the Jack Purcell. The sneaker features an all-over white leather with embossed Lambda patterns. The Lambda pays nods to the 1970s, where the sign was affiliated with one’s LGBTQ+ status. A pride flag is displayed on the heel, adding a special flash of color to the all-over white sneaker..
