Joining in the festivities of NYC’s virtual Puerto Rican Day Parade earlier this year, Nike looks to have scheduled another drop for La Borinquén with the Nike air max plus boys cd0609-107. With a dated history recognizing Puerto Rico through a series of special shoes, the Swoosh adds to the lineage. With all pairs featuring iconic colors as a shout-out to Puerto Rico, this Nike air max plus boys cd0609-107 continues the tradition.
With an upper built from a Metallic Silver base, this edition features Varsity Red detailing on certain aspects. The Metallic Silver part of the shoe makes up the mesh underlay & tongue as well as the leather paneling. Similar to the “Silver Bullet” Nike air max plus boys cd0609-107, the rope laces are silver & the full-length sole features a black & white combination. The Puerto Rican flag adorns the tongue tag of this model (this time they seem to have got the direction correct).
