Fran Marchello utilized a varied color palette when designing his nike mercurial superfly black and turquoise color. The “Pikachu” etched dubrae reveals the cause for all the color. Yellow patent leather dark around the toe, runs up the eyestays, hits the double swoosh, and saturates the midsole. Orange suede hits the vamp and heel panel. Sections of black divide the bright colors with black leather on the mid panel and black suede on the heel patch. The upper is completed with blue waxed laces and red reinforced lace rings at the lowest eyelets. The color contrasts of the upper and midsole are all anchored by a classic gum outsole.
