Celebrating the shoe’s 30th anniversary after originally releasing decades ago in 1989, the cultural impact of the ZX series was widely felt in its infancy. classic adidas hopes lightning will strike twice in the time since the series first raised eyebrows, combining OG releases like this one with the turtle juxtaposition of futuristic 4D technology.
True to tradition, the classic adidas ZX4000 OG highlights a range of lush materials — suede, mesh, and nylon. Each not only aids in comfort but speaks to the dewear and material story of sneakers 30 years our senior. Which, of course, speaks to Torsion technology that is present of this modern-day edition of a classic.
