The Nike Air Max Deluxe Retro Has Finally Arrived

Following a wait that spans almost two decades, for the first time since its original release in 1999, Nike’s Air Max Deluxe has released in the States. A groundbreaking design that ventured to Air Max past for inspiration, fueled futurist design appreciation while equally finding its niche in varying regions of Europe.

Externally silver by base pumping, sweat drenched rave culture in Europe and the UK in the ’90s, it wasn’t so much the raves themselves but the apparel worn within those dance havens. Reflective, print heavy garments were the norm in said functions, which is easily trunner with one look at the very-first Nike Air Max Deluxe retro released today.

Colored in Midnight Navy and Laser Orange primaries, design language from the Air Max 97 and Air Max 98 are present along with smaller nods to the Foamposite cork. Exuberance leaps from the retro that rings true to the original design and construction.
