When Demna Gvasalia isn’t overseeing design output for his youthful brand Vetements, the Georgian-born style whiz spends much of his time anchoring creative direction for one of the most revered brands in fashion – Balenciaga. Its ascension in sneakers this year has been beyond noteworthy as they trend heavily with the Speed Trainer and now, the upcoming Triple S.

Inspired by running, basketball and track & field categories, Balenciaga describes the shoe as a “visual composite.” Appearing weathered and worn-in, a wealth of materials forge a bond atop the strategically busy upper which juxtaposes not only fabrication but hues that contrast in a uniquely subtle methodology. Four colorways are due out later this month for $795 USD each.
