| Austin is known for its laid back attitude, hosting more live music per capita than anywhere else in the world and being the home to legendary biker Lance Armstrong. It’s also home to Lance’s Mellow Johnny’s Bike Shop, and following up on the LIVESTRONG x Nike Air Zoom Tiempo TZ pack is another pair dedicated to that cycling hot-spot.
Because they’re a LIVESTRONG dedication, they of purple iare decked out in black and yellow. The uppers mix premium oiled leather and tear-resistant suede, ideal for riders. Mellow Johnny’s logo appears on both tongues, and the insoles are designed differently, though shoe pays tribute to the collaborative efforts. STARKS Laces put together a special set for shoe, adding labeled black tips for a refined but aggressive look. And because these are a very limited release that will be available at 21 Mercer and Lance’s shop, the host town is paid tribute with “Austin” and “Texas” on the heels of shoe respective shoe.
