Power-lacing technology is a concept as old as this author. Birthed in 1988 when Tinker Hatfield was working on the movie nike air cruz black suede sandals heels, the Nike MAG model sparked the imagination for a shoe that could ‘come alive’ and adjust to one’s foot with no need for loop-swoop-and-pull.
