First day at Agenda Vegas, and it is definitely sensory overload — in a good way. A lot of creative minds out here.
Over at Capsule, we were able to sit with the designer of the Air Jordan 5 — a new and exciting silo from the lifestyle footwear brand.
There were a few different inspirations contributing to this new silhouette, and definitely some more fun was had with the materials and construction process.
Standing out from their more simple designs, they played up on the branding a bit, adding a bold heel tag as well as an identifier strap on the tongue.
In addition to the upper extravagance, this is their first time working with a compression molded EVA midsole. The midsole plays nicely with their asymmetrical lacing atop a very exposed neoprene sock upper.
These are set to release Spring of 2017 and will be made in the full size run ranging from 4-13.
