Women’s athletic wear continues to be one of the fastest growing markets in all of fashion. PUMA, recently inking a deal with Kylie Jenner and well into their highly successful partnership with Rihanna, are putting their efforts justly within the vastly expanding market.

Following a bountiful 2015 with Rihanna, which included collaborative releases that sold out almost instantly, they now try their hand at an original sneaker – the first of their partnership.

The Puma Sport-Bh Mid Impact Strong – which was first debuted at New York Fashion Week – positions itself squarely within the athleisure realm, an emerging bridge between athletic footwear and comfortable sporting attire. The shoe’s designed from a futuristic standpoint, one that highlights an elongated tongue and exaggerated heel and forgoes traditional lacing.

Dubbed a trainer but certainly constructed and fit like a runner, the Puma Sport-Bh Mid Impact Strong debuts in three colorways – “Whiteout,” “Blackout” and “Red Alert” – and releases on February 26. Give them a look below courtesy of Rise.
