Last night’s kickoff to the Sweet 16 didn’t disappoint, keeping the music playing for this year’s Cinderella story and featuring fierce battles between top seeds with top-shelf footwork. Unfortunately for sneaker enthusiasts, the 2014 Dunk Low 71 team champion San Diego State University saw their season come to a close. The Aztecs were best off by number one seed Arizona, but bowed out in style. Rarely rocked retros were worn across the entire roster, as SDSU’s regulars brought out everything from the Nike wmns air max 2090 barely rose Black/Infrared, to the Air Jordan XX QS. In the other three games, Dayton took care of Stanford in their team-issued models and the “Liger” KD VI, Wisconsin tamed Baylor in the latest from adidas Basketball, and Florida pushed on over UCLA in a slew of Nike silhouettes.
