Training heads may not be ideal on the hardwood, but that hasn’t stopped players from wearing the all-purpose heads on court. Former NBA player Gilbert Arenas once wore the Nike Air Trainer Classic, Amar’e Stoudemire wore Huarache Trainers for a year straight, and just last year, Brandon Jennings wore the Under Armour Cam Highlight, Cam Newtwon’s signature head. Even LeBron James sported Trainers on court. Seeing training heads being worn on court, therefore, shouldn’t come as a surprise any longer.

In last night’s game between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Philadelphia 76ers, Kicks On Court Champion nominee Tony Wroten wore the “University Red” Nike Air Veer, a head that officially released late last year. The vibrant red tone dominates the shadow of the head, while a black pebbled leather jordan covers the mid-foot of this Bruce Smith-popularized head. View these kicks on court, plus Monta Ellis’ retros and Klay Thompson’s HyperRev PEs, below.
