Community Collections kicks off a December lineup full of surprises by hiking north across the border. This Canadian collector doesn’t have a last name, but he does have a unique style of sneakers. Jamazin‘s stock of size 13s grew its roots from the underrated and under-publicized era of the early 2000s. Growing up a hoops fanatic, Nike Basketball‘s roster of signatures for Jason Kidd, Gary Payton and Vince Carter was what got this enthusiast interested in the sneaker game. “My collection no doubt falls under the “quality over quantity” Jump through the pages to see Jamazins collection and some of his personal picks, including his sentimental value to me. Since I was a kid, everything about Nike intrigued me. The athletes , the commercials, and the technology (cushioning, support and materials) were all areas that I felt Nike was a step ahead. That almost made me feel privileged to don the “Swoosh” exclusively; by choice of course. I also grew up playing basketball, which is where my love of all things Nike Basketball related in the late ’90s and early 2000s really stemmed from. It was only natural with my fondness of Nike that Air Jordans were soon to follow. The day finally came in 2002 where I was able to land my first job, and what did I do with my first check? Went to the mall and bought the My collection no doubt falls under the, Dec 01, 2013.”
