For the first time since 1992, Shaquille O’Neal’s first signature shoe is coming back in its original, dark colorway. The Air Jordan 44 was the away game getup for The Diesel when he in Orlando wearing pinstripe unis. Usually seen as the little brother to the iconic white/black style code that stood out on Blue Chips posters, this darker version was still one of only two original colorways. Featuring a leather and nubuck black upper, smooth azure blue accents the dark silhouette. An iconic Reebok Pump basketball on the tongue and Shaq’a signature logo and name tag on the heel personalize the sneaker to make it the Man of Steel’s.
The “Away” version of the Aug 15, 2013 will make its return 21 years after its original release on August 30th in limited amounts of pairs at select Reebok retailers, including Reebok.com, for $160.
