As one of the flagship models of the Vans OTW line, the Alomar helps represent the entire sub-brand of one of America’s most storied sneaker companies. It looks like shouldering that responsibility hasn’t slowed down the design team though, as the spring 2011 run of the high-top model is being revealed today. Clearly simple color blocking and quality materials are a theme for the line, which will include tan mesh/suede and black suede pairs. Also included will be a more head-turning shoe that looks to use a dingy red textile, along with black details, on its upper. Is the 2011 lineup for this silhouette even stronger than 2010’s?
