In less than a week, athletes and runners from all over the world will head to New York for one of the most difficult yet self-rewarding experiences in the world: the New York City Marathon. To commemorate this yearly event, Nike will be releasing a special “Marathon Pack” that features colorways for both men and women.
Both models and all four colorways previewed today are inspired by the change of colors at Central Park during the Fall season. The first pair of nike air max 1 leopard blue eyes color pages uses earthy tones of brown, purple, cream, and green while the second pair of AM1’s aimed for women features a purple and grey classic mesh/suede upper. The final two pairs of the the Nike LunarGlide feature more commonly seen colorways with both pairs using a grey base to compliment photo blue and hot pink highlights.
Individual members of the pack are rumored to be raffled off on Sunday, November 7th, 2010, while 10 pairs will be metal to friends and family.
