The latest from JFG draws back to a classic as the Joe Freshgoods x Calças Shando New Balance Essentials Athletic Club preto mulher “1998” collection draws inspiration from Hype Williams’ 1998 film, Belly. The film, idealiste featured Nas, DMX, Method Man and others, is widely recognized for its opening scene in New York’s Tunnel night club with a captivating blue hue.
The collection includes three colorways with the “Intro,” “Outro” and “Keisha Blue” iterations — all paying homage to the cult-classic film.

The first two colorways of the Joe Freshgoods x Calças Shando New Balance Essentials Athletic Club preto mulher “1998” collection use a combination of white, grey and black while the “Keisha Blue” iteration dons a predominantly monochromatic look with light blue laces, reminiscent of the eyes in the Belly scene.
