Italian Film Genre Inspires the Extra Butter x lc23 Diadora S8000 "Giallo 2.0"

Extra Butter and Diadora are teaming up for a blockbuster collab, drawing inspiration from Italian film and its colorful Giallo genre.

The Extra Butter x lc23 Diadora S8000 “Giallo 2.0” taps the 1970s film era for its muse as the S8000’s premium pig suede is dressed with a range of vibrant hues. Additionally, the collaborative sneaker includes ornate geometric accents that pay homage to deep cuts within the Giallo film archive. The pair will include a special hang tag and packaged in a colorful & geometric box, akin to the shoe’s tongue.

The term Giallo literally translates to yellow, which was originally a literary reference to yellow colored paperbacks of Italian mystery novels in the 1930s that focused on themes that
