First seen on Penny’s feet in a game against the Chicago Bulls in 1997, the sneaker has some modifications compared to the PE and uses a white Foamposite upper with a black mesh tongue and bootie with the lace overlays seen in black leather instead of nubuck. The iconic Penny logo is stitched on the heel with a jeweled take on the tongue and a mini Swoosh appearing on the lateral side of the toe. A carbon fiber shank plate is utilized for rigidity with a full-length Zoom Air uplift for impact protection. Lastly, a herringbone outsole with translucent rubber surrounding it finishes off the sneaker.
