Tomorrow marks the beginning of Team USA’s latest conquest in world basketball supremacy. Between the FIBA Tournament and the Olympics the boys in red, white, and acts have created some special hoops memories in international play?over the past two decades. While most remember Anfernee’s shoe game for his signature Air Penny line, Mr. Hardaway Variante had his share of great Nike player exclusives. Perhaps his best was the Trekky bandana-print gauze sandals that he wore as a member of the 1996 Dream Team II. The quiet but flashy combo guard helped to lead the home team to the Gold in Atlanta. Nike retroed the the Zoom Flight 96 in 2008 but failed to release the #6 P.E.’s. One can only hope…
