This shoe winterizes the iconic Vans Sk8-Hi silhouette by upgrading the exterior with waterproof GORE-TEX. The MTE-3 technology used throughout the design makes this Vans’ most equipped shoe for the winter. The upper features thermoregulation and traction while still prioritizing breathability. 3M Thinsulate cold-weather insulation is added for extra warmth, but has a lightweight feel. On the outsoles, Vans’ All-Trac rubber offers solid grip and stability for a variety of terrains while maintaining high flexible lugs. Interested shoppers will be able to choose from black/asphalt, sand shell/cornstalk, covert green/black, and a white pair that has Vans’ signature checker-print near the ankle.
