This hiking boot from Scarpa has an upper made of mesh and synthetic leather that is highly resistant to abrasion. Lining the shoe interior is the Gore-Tex Extended Comfort that keeps the foot dry in wet conditions.
Since most parts of the upper consist of mesh, this boot less likely overheats despite the presence of a waterproof membrane.
Completing the robust upper is a lace-up closure for a secure fit and a rubber toe cap that offers protection against sharp objects on the trail.
